Privacy Policy

Last updated October 28, 2026

fswitcher is a Mac app made by Forma Labs LLC. This policy covers the app and fswitcher.app.

On your Mac

fswitcher uses the Accessibility and Screen Recording permissions to list your windows, show previews, and switch between them. This information stays on your Mac. Previews are kept in memory only and are never saved or sent. Your license key is stored in your Mac's Keychain. If you use the free trial, the time it started is kept there too, so each Mac gets one trial. fswitcher does not include analytics or ads.

fswitcher keeps a log of its activity on your Mac to help diagnose problems. It records things like app names, switches, and your Mac's name. The log is never sent anywhere. If you send it to us for support, we use it only for that.

Purchases

Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for fswitcher and processes payments. We do not receive your card details. Lemon Squeezy shares your name, email address, and order details with us so we can deliver your license, provide support, and handle refunds. Its privacy policy covers the data it collects.

Internet connections

fswitcher connects to the internet to:

• Activate and deactivate your license key with Lemon Squeezy, and verify it periodically. This sends the key and your Mac's name as set in System Settings, which may include your name.
• Check fswitcher.app for updates and download them. This sends your fswitcher version.
• During the free trial, get fswitcher's current price from fswitcher.app. This sends nothing about you.
• If you take the first-day offer, get a single-use discount code from fswitcher.app. This sends when your trial started.

Your IP address is visible to these services, as with any internet request.

Website and support

Our website host may log standard request data, such as IP address and browser type. Lemon Squeezy runs the checkout and uses its own cookies. If you email us, we use your email address and message to reply.

Website analytics and cookies

If you accept analytics on our cookie notice, fswitcher.app uses Lucky Orange to see how people use the site. Lucky Orange records your activity on our pages, such as clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement, and sets cookies to do this. Nothing is recorded unless you accept. Purchases happen on Lemon Squeezy's checkout, which Lucky Orange does not record.

You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. fswitcher.app does not set any other cookies. Your choice is saved in your browser. Lucky Orange's privacy policy covers the data it collects.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with Lemon Squeezy, Lucky Orange, our website host, and our email provider, or when required by law.

Retention and your rights

We keep purchase records as long as needed for licensing, support, and legal requirements. You can email us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information.

Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
